Meet our new "Shinshinit": Raz!
Hi Midbar Kodesh Temple! my name is Raz (which means “secret" in Hebrew) and I'm from Israel. Currently I'm a "Shinshinit" in Las Vegas, which means that I was sent by the Jewish Agency for Israel to volunteer abroad. "Shinshin" stands for the first two letters of the Hebrew phrase "sh'nat sheirut" which means "year of service".
I bring Israeli spirit to the community and tell my story. I love theater, sport and dancing- I danced flamenco for almost 9 years.
In addition to working with the Religious School kids at Midbar Kodesh Temple, I’m working at Adelson Educational Campus and other synagogues, the Israeli American Council, the Israeli Scouts, Solomon Schechter Day School, and other local Jewish organizations.
I'm really glad to be part of Midbar Kodesh Temple and I can’t wait to meet you all!
Please feel free to contact me and ask any questions!
