Teacher in-service with Rick Recht, is sponsored by the JCC, open all religious and pre-school teach

Jewish Religious School and Jewish Preschool teachers are invited by the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada to share an in-service experience with Jewish entertainer Rick Recht on Sunday, January 22 at 1 p.m. at the JCC. The spirited workshops are designed to empower Jewish educators and help them incorporate new ideas into their curriculum.

Recht and his band are in Las Vegas to perform at a concert to be held at Midbar Kodesh Temple at 4 p.m. that afternoon. Recht will also share the Havdalah experience with PJ Library at the end of Shabbat the evening before the concert and lead ruach filled shabbat services at Midbar Kodesh Temple on Friday evening January 20 with Tot Shabbat at 5:15 p.m. followed by a musical 7:30 p.m. service. The entire community is welcome at both services as well as the Saturday Shabbat service to be held at 9:00 a.m.
